The future takes shape
M/Y THIS IS IT is the groundbreaking motor catamaran of the Tecnomar fleet – 43.5 metres long, 14.5 metres wide, and above 500 GT. A radical project that sets a new benchmark in yacht design, unveiled in world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023. A catamaran like no other, she disrupts tradition and embraces a language closer to contemporary architecture than to classical yachting.
EXTERIORS
Out of the Ordinary
Her flowing, sinuous lines recall fantastic sea creatures, reshaping the very idea of what is possible. More than 600 square metres of glass wrap her asymmetric silhouette, creating a bold, futuristic icon that defies convention.
The aluminium superstructure, with its complex curved forms, pushed engineering to its limits, while weight control became a crucial triumph considering the vast glazed surfaces. Every deck is designed as both private and convivial, offering space for reflection as well as celebration.
In the Owner’s quarters, a vertical garden rising across two decks evokes the feeling of a villa on the sea, crowned by a skylight soaring 3.3 metres high. THIS IS IT is not an interpretation of the ordinary – she is a revelation of radical design, innovation, speed and pure Tecnomar sportiness.
INTERIORS
Living Energy
Inside, THIS IS IT erases boundaries between yacht and ocean. Skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows flood the interiors with natural light, strengthening the dialogue with the sea and creating breathtaking perspectives. She hosts six spacious staterooms for up to 12 guests, complemented by a massage room and a galley with polarised glass, perfect for events and show cooking. The spectacular Owner’s area features an extraordinary 3.3-metre height, an organically shaped skylight and a panoramic terrace. Inspired by supercar design, the interiors combine fluid, organic lines with a dynamic, enveloping mood. Leather, Alcantara, teak and oak meet bold geometric cuts, grey marble inserts and the lustre of noble metals, gold, bronze, titanium and carbon. The palette of platinum grey and soft beige underscores refinement, while every surface breathes movement and energy. THIS IS IT is not a catamaran: she is a statement, where Tecnomar turns speed, design and adrenaline into a living icon.
